Product Services Engineer
Requirements

Computer Telephony Integration
The primary purpose of the position of Sales Engineer (SE) is to support the sales efforts of Regional Sales Managers. To accomplish this, an SE must be schooled trained on the following products; Synapse IP, Synapse Mapping, Synapse ALI/DBMS and Synapse Emergency Notification Services. Additionally, over time an SE must take certain Avaya certification coursework in the area of product configuration and ordering.

Additionally, an SE may be called upon to train TCI’s distribution channels with product training and on-site selling support through demonstrations, equipment and software ordering procedures. As requirements present themselves, the SE might need to participate in RFP/RFQ responses work for technical responses and quotes to the distributors.

The position requires traveling, as much as 50% - 70% of the time. This includes PSAP visits, visits to distributor sites, and participation in national and regional trade shows.

As an SE you will be called upon from time to time to help evaluate new product opportunities for TCI by assisting the product manager.

As an SE you will also help to create a Statement of Work for the new Synapse product and a Planning Form to be used by salespeople in requesting a new or upgrade quote.
