Established in 1969 with headquarters in Huntsville, Alabama – the technology capital of the South, TCI is an industry leader in designing and manufacturing world class Public Safety Systems. With equipment in almost every state and several foreign countries, TCI’s depth of knowledge and breadth of experience has benefited agencies with our consultative approach to providing the very best in Public Safety communications.

For more than 20 years, TCI has been a key provider of 911 CPE, enabling Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) to effectively manage 911 communications at the city, county, and state level. TCI offers a wide range of solutions for these local government entities, with a one company fits all, rather than a one product fits all approach.

TCI’s modular solutions meet the needs of the smallest 2-position PSAP and the robust requirements of centralized, networked metropolitan applications. TCI’s newest offering, Synapse, based on the Avaya Communication Manager Platform, is the industry’s first, fully-integrated, Voice over IP (VoIP) solution for 911 communications.

We maintain a strong commitment to R&D, and strong involvement with the technical standards being set by such organizations as NENA and APCO. Our products have been accepted as standards through major telecommunications providers. We maintain active relationships with partners, like Avaya, AT&T, Intrado and Microsoft.
